To stop eye twitching and reduce eye strain, try an exercise called palming. Rub the palms vigorously together until they feel very warm. Immediately form a cup shape with your hands and place them over your eyes. No need to touch the eyes while doing this. Sit for two minutes, then remove your hands. The next exercise will help you see further and closer, because it strengthens the eye muscle itself. Sit in a chair and for two minutes duration, move your eyes around the entire room in a full circle and top to bottom. A warm wet cloth pressed against the eyes also feels very relaxing.
